Cleveland INS reports six year old Lawrence Williamson drowned Friday in a gravel pit near Clark Avenue. Firemen dragged the eight foot pit tonight in a rescue effort, winds southerly about 11 mph, with fair today and possible thunder showers. Sunrise 5 53 a m sunset 9 04 p m. Seoul reports South Korea cancelled leaves and placed 700000 troops on full alert amid tensions after Allied arms build up. Deputy Defense Minister Kim Chong Kap calls the alert routine, while unofficial sources cite proximity to Western defenses modernization. General Lauris Norstad told Congress such a renunciation would be a disaster for the United States and NATO. He urged the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee to reject disarmament drives and insisted on maintaining rights within allied bases.
