A 59-year-old man with five years of cancer turned to hospice care at home after doctors said no further improvements were possible. He credits hospice with a better quality of life, vacations, walks, and time with his wife. He spoke in a national NHPCO campaign video about how hospice helped him leave his house and visit his alma mater. The campaign aims to erase stigma and highlight hospice benefits.
