Portland drains 8 million gallons after urine in reservoir
A 21 year old man urinated into Portland Oregon water reservoirs captured on security cameras. City officials drained about 8 million gallons of treated drinking water and faced mixed public health views on the risk. The incident prompted debate over conserving water versus potential contamination fears. The offender Josh Seater admitted drinking and misjudging the reservoir. The loss totaled under 8 thousand dollars in treatment costs.
