Serbian hijacker surrenders at Shannon airport

Serbian nationalist Nikola Kavaja, 45, from Paterson New Jersey, surrendered to Irish police at Shannon International Airport after his plane from New York landed. He had hijacked an American Airlines 727 with 137 aboard and faced impending Chicago conspiracy murder charges for Yugoslav diplomats. Severe storms sweep northeast Ohio with widespread outages

Violent thunderstorms lashed northeast Ohio Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, knocking out power to about 13 000 Ohio Edison customers in Lorain County and 5 000 more later. IRS Liens doom Archives Restaurant once Sterner's
