Contract Let For Bridge At Milan
State Highway Director O W Merrell announced a contract for a temporary timber bridge over the Huron River on US Route 250 and State Routes 15 and 13 north of Milan Erie County was awarded to A J Baltes Norwalk Ohio for 7000 dollars. Nine bids ranged from 7000 to 15000 and the wrecked bridge occurred June 12 by a Michigan Transport truck. The new bridge must be completed by July 1 and will have four spans each 41 feet long with a 24 foot roadway and a sidewalk on one side.
