Lumbus Ohio June 71 A gale penitentiary delivery thwarted today when Warden Thomas uncovered a tunnel network from the prison leading to the outside. First K housed 13 men from the Nev. 26 breakout and 12 to 15 other convicts faced punishments for defying rules as guards tightened.
Diego observers report official orders for a long range trimotor flight by mid July. Lieuts Mall and Genberger say the craft will undergo a series of tests after arriving at Mitchell Field. Passengers include B Jones and E J Rivers as Hawaiian flyers join the expedition planning.
