Former Lorain agency head spared prison term
Visiting Judge Judith Cross suspended prison time for Anna Taylor-Carter and imposed three years probation. The 44 year old was convicted on charges including falsification and theft in office for using an agency credit card to buy makeup and pay for business meals, and for creating a bogus catering contract for her November 2001 wedding. She was acquitted on seven other counts.
