Denver Surgeon Gives Mexican Girl a New Face
Monica Tovar a Mexican City girl born with a congenital hairy nevus on the left side of her face has undergone a lengthy series of operations in Mexico and Denver to remove scars and reshape her features. Dr Thomas Gargan of Rose Medical Center led a 10 year project using a neck skin expander and multiple grafts, aided by Friends of Man, with ongoing plans as Monica grows.
