Lorain panel may be illegal and police protest grows
Safety Director Wanda Tully will send a written recommendation to Mayor Parker within five days on the legality of the Blue Ribbon Investigatory Commission. Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 3 protested the panel saying it violates their contract and the chief should lead investigations. Gloria Kimbrough, 32, was shot by police May 26 and remains hospitalized in fair condition after extensive surgery.
