Lorain resident Dale Kinser 26 died of head injuries after his car skidded off the road on Route 254 and wrapped around a tree. He had lived in Lorain three years and worked as a clerk at Goldberg Grocery and Meat Market. He leaves three brothers and three sisters. Burial planned in Mounts Cemetery Mud Fork. Funeral arrangements by Matthews Funeral Home in Lorain.

Rescuer In Fire Can't Take Heat

Boy Drowns In Residential Cistern Near Oberlin
A 28 year old father, digging a cistern eight by ten feet and 32 inches deep, found his 24 year old wife at Oberlin after she accompanied their son in an ambulance to Oberlin Hospital where the boy died. The father, who had been delaying work due to rain, was in Oberlin to arrange tree removal when the accident occurred. Deputy LaCrosse noted a board in the cistern, suggesting the boy may have fallen in while reaching it. The couple has two other children, Richard Allen and Joseph Wayne. Surviving grandparents are Roy Cain and Roy T. Jones. Funeral services are set for Thursday at 2 p.m. at Cowling-Stang Funeral Home with the Rev. J Wayne Saffen officiating. burial in Camden Cemetery.
