County Softball Entry Deadline Set For July 1
Elyria Recreation Board announced July 1 as the entry deadline for the annual county softball championship. The double elimination tournament runs July 8 to July 23 at the Lexington Avenue field, with top teams eligible for the Ohio Amateur Softball Association district tournament. Previous champions Hart’s Jewelers lead the field. four Lorain County teams qualified last year. Entry fee totals 12 dollars per team, including 5 dollars for OA.S.A. membership and 7 dollars for tournament play.
