NEW YORK June 19 The launching of a third party anticipated to attract support from Father Coughlin’s National Union for Social Justice Townsend Old Age Pensions adherents and other inflationary factions was expected in political circles today. Coughlin told United Press he expected a candidacy on a third party ticket possibly today in New York Ruston or Washington. He was preparing a radio speech at 10 45 p m EDT to endorse the candidate should the platform fit his aims. Speculation centered on Rep William Lemke and former Gov Joseph Ely as likely figures though Ely denied plans. Lemke said he would back any third party movement supporting the farm mortgage bill.
