Tetanus shots urged by Lorain County health chief
Lorain County health commissioner Dr. Marion G. Fisher urges tetanus immunization for all ages. He warns wounds can harbor deadly tetanus from soil bacteria and spores in manure and bird waste, explaining active versus passive immunity and the need for booster shots and antitoxin in injuries. The report also notes Dale D. Chuha earning an agriculture degree and entering active duty at Fort Benning.
