Speed dating for cancer drugs aims to match patients to therapies
The FDA backs Lung-MAP a multi company umbrella trial matching advanced squamous cell lung cancer patients to experimental drugs via full gene profiling. Five firms Amgen Genentech Pfizer AstraZeneca and MedImmune join the government and advocacy groups to speed approvals and reduce exposure to ineffective treatments.
