Flight 93 Memorial Nears Completion For 9/11 Anniversary
At Shanksville Pennsylvania the Flight 93 National Memorial nears completion ahead of the tenth anniversary. A long white marble wall inscribes the 40 passengers and crew while a walkway lies about 100 yards from the crash site. The site aims to offer a healing experience with planned groves and a Tower of the Voices. Meanwhile New York officials discuss museum admission, with a $20 fee expected once the 9/11 Memorial & Museum opens in September 2012 and free access for victims’ relatives.
