Fire crews responded to a small mercury spill in the 800 block of South Logan St Elyria. A container in a shed behind a home leaked after a man broke it around 5 50 p m Thursday. EPA investigators are expected to arrive today to inspect the site. No one was contaminated or sickened. The mercury was believed to originate from old thermostats.
