Plush Deadly Kennel Delights Stray Dogs New Quarters
Lorain County unveils a $24,095 county kennel at the Oberlin Road garage, in use since June 1. The 40 cages hold two dogs each, with masonry walls for easy cleaning, drainage, two-compartment feeding trays, and pastel interior. A high altitude style euthanasia device costing $2,225 will be installed, from the Euthanair Co. The facility features a ventilating roof fan and a dispensary, office, and staff. Public hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
