He notes Europe has 16 countries and 24 major cities visited over his 31 months abroad and plans to return to the United States this fall for release from active duty. Set oven at 350 degrees. Melt 2 sq bitter chocolate and 4 tsp butter in a small pan in the oven. Sift 1 1/2 cup flour with 1 tsp soda and 4 tsp salt. Add 1 cup white sugar 1 unbeaten egg 1 cup sour milk and 1 tsp vanilla. Make a well, drop in egg and sour milk, mix. Add melted shortening chocolate and vanilla. Bake about 30 minutes.
