Granitehead Bookshop and the Stormbound Boardwalk
In a Maine resort town the storm halts a summer crowd as Giles Armiger and Stephen Scripps discuss books and the fate of old treasures. A backstory links their wartime past and a shared bond over rare volumes while a chance meeting with Dilly and news of a rescue adds tension to the weathered day. The tale blends seafaring imagery with a friendship tested by memories of France and the lure of rare books.
