Fatal burn accident at county home claims Louis Steinbeck

Louis Steinbeck five year old of the Lorain Counts Howie died at E ria Memorial hospital at six o clock last night from severe body burns after his clothes ignited from a pipe kept in his pocket at the county home. The accident happened at 1 pm Wednesday when he was sitting on a bench in the yard and thought he had put out the pipe before placing it in his pocket. He was rushed to the hospital but died from his injuries. Steinbeck, a former Amherst resident, had lived at the county home for over twenty years and is believed to have several relatives nearby.
