Elizabeth M Peyton 89 of Elyria died Sunday June 12 2011 in The Abbewood Elyria. A Kent State graduate she taught in the Midview School District for 20 years and held leadership roles in Delta Kappa Gamma Lorain County Incentive Grant Retired Teachers Association and several local religious and historical organizations. Survivors include daughter Lanna Swindler and grandsons Adrian Peyton Jeremy Peyton and Scott Swindler. Memorial services planned June 16 at Harvest Ridge Assembly of God with arrangements by Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home.

Dale Frank Stefan 68 of Avon Lake died June 13 2011 at home after a 10 year cancer fight. A 1961 Avon Lake High School graduate he served four years in the U S Army stationed in Korea as a Supply Sergeant. He worked 41 years as a superintendent for Kopf Builders and enjoyed boating and motorcycling. He is survived by sons Jeff and Jason and grandchildren Taylor Hannah and a twin brother David.
