Postal Carrier Rides To Work And Play With Beau The Horse
Grafton resident Lynette Kitts works five hours delivering mail then returns to Hutman Farm to ride her 1,100 pound horse Beau. The 48 year old carrier born into a horse family has kept horses since childhood and keeps Beau as her hobby and expensive joy. Beau’s training cost $3,900 last year while he eats six pounds of grain daily and a third bale of hay.

At Community Park on June 8 an umpire and coach argued after an umpire ejected a coach. No threats or assaults occurred and no charges were filed. Also that week residents reported loud music on Mechanic Street and a man preaching to children on Main Street.
