Midview retirees add 55 years to district service
Two veteran Midview teachers Nina Hughes and Ed Kubuski retire after a combined 55 years with the district. Hughes taught music at Midview since 1960 and plans to move to Florida with her husband while pursuing genealogy. Kubuski, who became Midview’s first basketball coach in 1955, will spend time on his six acres and recall a career spanning Elyria Catholic and minor league baseball experiences.
