The friends of Miss Anna Richards are distressed by her death at the home of her brother, Rev M E Spencer, in River Falls Wisconsin, on Monday of this week. She had lived with the late Mrs Frank Piper at the Washington terrace Washington avenue before moving to River Falls and was a member of the First Congregational church from 1904 to 1919, having brought her letter from the Second church Oberlin then.

A Pennsylvania passenger train struck a truck from the Leroy Motorized Circus at Orrville killing Mr and Mrs Franks of Chicago and an unnamed man from Pataskala Ohio. Two others were injured including Fred Mathews. One likely fatal. The truck wrecked and bodies dragged several hundred feet. The train was late and speeding.
