Tour de France Penitentiaire Aims for Reform via Bike Trek

French inmates undertake a two week 1 370 mile cycling tour from prisons to Paris in a penitentiary版 event designed to build self respect and community reintegration rather than compete. Nearly 200 prisoners from across France ride with guards, following 15 stages averaging about 90 miles.
