Antioch College will close in 2008 due to funding shortages and enrollment declines from 2000 to 400. Officials plan to seek funds to reopen in 2012 while students may complete degrees at Antioch University McGregor which is relocating to a new Yellow Springs facility this year.
State Route 83 between Capel Road intersections will be closed 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for railroad crossing repairs. Detour for southbound drivers uses northbound Route 83 to Route 82 then Route 57. Northbound motorists follow reverse route.
