Reagan laid to rest in underground crypt at library
Ronald Reagan buried in a seven foot deep crypt at his hilltop library in Simi Valley California after a week of national mourning. The bronze lined casket was sealed in a brick wall within the crypt and earth covered the tomb as Nancy Reagan and their children mourned. President Bush praised Reagan in a radio address while thousands watched the processions and visiting hours began at the 100 acre library complex.

Reagan's death opens old wounds for Reagan critics
Ronald Reagan's passing stirred adoring tributes and holidays while critics recalled his difficult legacy. Californians, including AIDS activists and farm workers, faulted his policies on education, the environment, and social needs, citing Berkeley, the grape boycott, and Central American actions.
