Mariners Rally Past Indians 8 7 In Snowed Out Make-up
Cleveland pitcher Paul Byrd struggled, giving up seven runs in four innings as Seattle beat the Indians 8-7 at Jacobs Field. Raul Ibanez lined an RBI double in the ninth off Joe Borowski to seal the Mariners win after Cleveland nearly erased a 7-0 deficit. Byrd said his control failed him, and the loss snapped a chance for revenge in the make-up game.
