North Ridgeville approves indoor fast-pitch softball center
A planned nearly 17000 square foot indoor softball training facility at Victory Sports Park in North Ridgeville won Planning Commission approval. David Leffew, a former Keystone High and Ashland University coach, will head the project with executor guidance from Morrow and Leach Contractors. The site on a three acre parcel will house six batting cages, pitching machines, and room for baseball instruction, with about 20 staff planned and possible retail and eatery spaces later. Construction may begin within four to five months pending council and zoning approval.
