Eaton trustee derides LORCO sewer as sewer to nowhere
Eaton Township Trustee Linda Morrison calls the $30 million LORCO sewer project a sewer to nowhere as most of the system remains unfinished and no treatment plant is connected in Avon Lake. LORCO’s Rob Berner defends progress and says a few homes are hooked with plans to finish by midsummer, using trucks to transport sewage if needed. Delays stem from contractor issues and a legal battle with Elyria, with health concerns raised by Morrison.
