French Creek District to Cost Homeowners $400 Tap-In Fee

Avon households connected to the FCSD would pay a $400 tap-in and $5 monthly service charge when the sewer system opens. Ned Williams of the OWDA said the fee funds the $19.2 million regional facility serving North Ridgeville, Sheffield and Avon, with about 5,000 customers affected. Some communities sought waivers, but Williams noted the money is needed and each community will determine debt repayment.
