John Kershaw seventy a former Elyria resident died in Charity Hospital Cleveland at 3 p m yesterday from injuries at work with Warner Swasey Co He was drilling above a truck embrance when a maintenance bench toppled a ladder and the drill pulled free causing a fall He had a fractured pelvis and other injuries and reportedly suffered a stroke before dying officials said He had worked at Warner Swasey since 1942 and was 61 years old at his death

A Detroit mother confessed to killing her three young children. She drowned two in a bathtub and suffocated the third in what investigators describe as an apparent mass killing.
