Guitar Stolen From Lorain Music Center
Lorain police report an electric guitar valued at 185 dollars stolen from Marietta's Music Center at 2929 Broadway. Store manager Al Thiery said a youth entered about 9 45 A M and lingered for an hour without buying anything before the guitar vanished.

Wellington seeks land for 1.2 billion gallon reservoir
The Wellington Board of Public Affairs moves to buy land for a new 1.2 billion gallon reservoir. Two plots, 132 acres south of Penn Central tracks and east of Pitts Road and about 160 acres east of Pitts Road, are under consideration. Buyer price offers will decide the best site. State funds up to 1,396,000 are released. construction to start this summer.

Deed and mortgage filings rise in Lorain County May totals
Recordings of deeds for May show 657 city and 124 agricultural deeds, surpassing May 1967. City mortgages total 513 deeds valued at 7,087,186, while agricultural mortgages total 102 at 3,063,597, down from a year ago. Financing statements number 820 vs 969 in May 1967. Two plats were recorded: Meadow Valley Subdivision in Lorain and Crystal Shoes No. 3 in Vermilion.

Engineers to study Wellington sewage plant expansion
The Board of Public Affairs will hire the Les Poggemeyer Engineering Firm of Bowling Green Ohio to study possible ways to enlarge the Wellington sewage disposal plant. The present facility is near capacity and expansion must be completed by 1969.
