Erik Traxler a 50-yearold Grafton man died of natural causes after his white GMC Sierra veered off Lakeview Drive and struck a house at 54 Lakeview Drive Elyria Post of the State Highway Patrol says the crash caused extensive damage but the occupants Frank and Robin Foglyano were not home and uninjured. The crash remains under investigation by the State Highway Patrol.

Semitruck wedged under Elyria railroad bridge
In Elyria the Washington Avenue bridge was closed for about an hour after a United semitruck got stuck beneath the Norfolk Southern railroad bridge. Police blocked the street from Broad Street to the river parking lot as Sugar Ridge Inc. Tow ing and Recycling helped detach the trailer and remove the cab. By 6:30 p.m. the truck was freed and the driver to be cited for failure to control.
