Trial to open in Cleveland murder case at Imperial Avenue home
Cleveland faces the trial of Anthony Sowell 51 a convicted sex offender and ex Marine charged with killing 11 women whose remains were found in his home and yard after police began uncovering them in November 2009. Prosecutors say he lured women from the neighborhood with alcohol or drugs then killed them.

River Rescue Near Olmsted Falls Highlights Fire Training
Olmsted Falls Fire Department used a rope rescue technique learned in training to pull a man from the Rocky River bank in Columbia Station. Firefighters lifted the patient from the riverbank to a raised gurney on a bridge, an effort lasting 20 to 30 minutes before transporting him to Southwest Community Hospital in Cleveland.

Rape suspect left phone number with victim’s daughter
