Borrowed Motorcycle Crash Kills Local Man
James L. Martin age 23 of 11 Shear street was killed when a borrowed motorcycle crashed near 1019 North West River street and burst into flames. He was taken to Elyria Memorial Hospital where he died. Martin had borrowed the bike from Glenn Trammel of 231 Rush street for a ride to the corner and back, paying $20 as a deposit. He worked at National Tube Co and his mother Mrs. Ethel Wise of Akron. Funeral arrangements await at Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home.
