Babson on Brand Value in Dodge Brothers Sale
Roger W. Babson weighs the value of trade marks and goodwill in a Dodge Brothers sale. He notes brands survive market shifts and cites Quaker Oats Shredded Wheat Ivory Soap and Poland Spring as examples. He also cautions against overreliance on goodwill in investment.
