Seabold Dairies marks 75 years in Elyria creamery history
Seabold Dairies began in 1911 on Telegraph road when John Seabold bought a milk route. The firm grew from horse drawn deliveries to a large plant on West River Street, later Lake Avenue, expanding into ice cream parlor and retail stores. A 1962 fire damaged the plant but operations continued with milk routed to Cloverleaf Dairy. Now four routes serve about 900 homes with diversification into groceries and detergents.

The Comedy Cure for Long Life?
Laughter is proposed as a healthful factor that may extend life. Experts from Stanford and others note comedians' high energy and therapy-like effects, suggesting humor could offset aging while urging NIH funded study and trips to comedy hubs to explore the link between mirth and longevity.
