Black River Playhouse tunnels for backstage access
The Black River Playhouse group carved a 30 foot tunnel from the stage to the dressing room to move cast and crew unseen. The all male 22 member group, active since 1957, renovated the former Mt Zion Church into a theater, expanding the stage and adding a light and sound control room.
