Medinaclaims triple crown at state meet in windy conditions
Medina dominated the Division I state meet in Elyria, winning the 400 with a 45.88 and the 200 in 21.67 despite a 4.2 negative headwind, claiming the triple crown while overcoming a prior indoor leg injury and lingering doubts. Elyria and Avon also posted strong showings in relays and field events, with standout efforts from Chizmar, Below, and several Lorain County athletes.
