Relocation of memorial plaque to Elyria criticized
A North Ridgeville veteran firefighter pressed the City Council to restore a memorial plaque for Magnara Hintz to the North Ridgeville fire museum. He argued the Elyria placement disrespected Hintz and that the museum honors first responders with no local ties. City officials cited unity of honor and affirmed Elyria as the proper home for the plaque.
