Zebra Room Named Fire Origin At Beverly Hills Club
Fire Inspectors in Southgate Kentucky say the Zebra Room rented for a Elyria wedding reception was the origin site of the Beverly Hills Supper Club fire. Kentucky State Police Commissioner Ken Brandenburgh confirmed evidence shows flammable debris near the wall, with officials not yet declaring arson. Mrs Hall recalled a warm room before the blaze and two rumbling sounds during dinner, but she noted no obvious fire starting conditions. Investigators have not yet talked to the Halls.

Dr Renee Richards, the sex change patient formerly known as Dr Richard Raskind, will sign a contract to play World Team Tennis for the Cleveland Pittsburgh Nets. Richards, 42, of Newport Beach, divorced father of a 5 year old son Nikki, recently underwent sex reassignment surgery and withdrew from the French Open amid chromosome test controversy. The Nets disclosed a signing conference but gave no contract length or pay details.

Man Dies and Another Paralyzed in Lake Dives
An 18 year old Cleveland youth, Lewis Sanders, died at Southwest General Hospital after an injury at Wallace Lake berea May 22 when he struck his head underwater. James Armelli of Lakewood, 18, was paralyzed and listed in serious condition after a May 18 accident at the same lake in the Rocky River Reservation of Cleveland Metro Parks. Sanders would have graduated next week from West Tech High School.

Bizarre farewell ends in Boulder death mystery
Edward Nylander, 29, a former Oberlin College graduate and self-styled guru, sent friends a final photograph and a printed letter days before his suicide. His charred body was found in a cave near Boulder with a gasoline can, as friends recall his plans for reincarnation through meditation on his image. His life included yoga teaching at Oberlin, LSD use with a Denver counselor, and a 1976 divorce, ending in a mysterious death.

Premonition surrounds Oberlin student Edward Nylander tragedy
Edward Nylander, Oberlin College art graduate and former physical education instructor, was found dead in a Boulder cave on April 10. A manuscript his father received from Edward hints at a self-inflicted death rather than a planned trip. Nylander had become involved in yoga and Eastern religions during his Oberlin years and taught at the college from 1973 to 1974. He married former Oberlin student Lyn Hexman.
