Minot Air Force Base unit fails key nuclear safety tests
The 5th Bomb Wing at Minot AFB North Dakota received an unacceptable grade for security of nuclear weapons and for managing changes that affect operational status. Findings include guards not patrolling, unsearched emergency vehicles, a guard playing video games on duty, and unarmed traffic points during transport routes.
