Faymore Castle Burns In Suspected Fire At Ridge House
A Sunday blaze heavily damaged a 36 foot wall enclosed house on Butternut Ridge Road, built by convicted drug trafficker Leonard Faymore. Fire Chief Mel Ternes called the fire suspicious but not arson. Sheriff and state fire marshal investigators surveyed debris at the scene near Routes 10 and 57 where the property had long attracted youths and a motorcycle gang presence. Faymore is serving a 40 year federal sentence in Danbury.
