Elyria Library staff recall early era of film circuits
Former Elyria Public Library staff describe how the library expanded from books to visual media. They detail the 1948 cooperative film circuit, the 1967 regional administration, and NASA contracts in 1969 for 1,000 films across seven Midwest states. Colleen Pollack and Lyn Crouse reflect on service, community ties, and future plans for branch construction and a 150th anniversary in 2020.
