Wellington Town Hall grant boosts exterior rehab plan
A $23 000 grant from the Ohio Historic Preservation Office will aid the Wellington Town Hall exterior rehabilitation, bringing total project funds to about $300 000 with $75 000 local support. Mayor Rudy Neumann says the plan will proceed, though bids exceed estimates leaving a shortfall around $60 000. The project includes adding an elevator to access the upper floors and relocating utilities, police HQ, and a senior citizens center.
