Tax credit cut sparks debate on city tax plan
Local officials debate a measure lowering the resident tax credit to 75 percent for workers outside the city. Krasienko criticized unsigned votes as a de facto endorsement, while Mantini noted the ordinance takes effect after law. An emergency clause was barred from referendum, with officials predicting one or both tax adjustments may pass by November.
