Transitioning art teacher returns to Eastchester High
Randey Gordon, a 52 year old Eastchester High School art teacher, completed a sex change last month and will return in September as a woman. She has broad support from unions and some students, though parents remain divided. Gordon plans to use a unisex faculty bathroom and emphasizes the need for acceptance and continuity in her teaching.
