Mayor Questions Planned Southeast Bypass Opening
Elyria Mayor Charles V. Neeson doubts the Monday opening of the Southeast Bypass. He says the city has not been notified by the contractor or Ohio Edison about turning over the lights and that Elyria’s portion valued at 57000 plus engineering fees is not officially ready for use. County Engineer Patterson cites Timmer as setting the date and two ceremonies being planned, which Neeson says cannot occur without official declaration.
