Out-of-state crews join Montana wildfire response
Fire crews from California Utah and other states rushed to Montana to battle the Devil's Creek fire near Jordan where five firefighters were injured by shifting winds. The Bootleg Fire in Oregon grew slowly with ongoing evacuations and containment under half. Governor Newsom declared a state of emergency for four northern California counties as firefighters brace for more exits.
